Promotional Tips

Promotions!

(It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it!)

1. Don't work harder... Work Smarter!

Good event communication can result in 20-40% higher turn out at your venue. This translates to more traffic, revenue, and better evangelistic opportunity!

2. Promote the SBG website! On this site your potential customers can get a better idea of what SBG is all about. They can also download songs if they are unfamiliar with Saved by Grace music.

3. Saved by Grace will email promotions information to our mailing list members, as well as promotions through all other outlets known to Saved by Grace. Some of our outlets are local to the Milwaukee area.

Travel time may sway fans away from some venues, so your local outlets will be a big factor in the success of the show!

4. Employees/Staff at the venue should also promote the event. Mention the show date, style of music, interested age demographic, etc at all events within a 2-4 week window of the SBG showdate.

5. The promotions download page will have PDF versions of posters, flyers and table tents to be used by the venue. Please prominently display these items in and around your venue up to the day of the show.

6. If you have radio or newspaper advertising at your disposal, tap into it! Most papers have a free events listing section some radio stations have community bulletin board spots on air.

7. On the day of the event. Make sure employees working the door as well as answering the phones have a good idea of what SBG is about. Encourage them to "talk up" the event. This alone can account for 10% of your crowd!

Biography:

Seasoned Indie Christian artists Saved by Grace have made a name for themselves mixing swampy blues, funk, and 70s drenched rock with Christian contemporary songwriting. The results are a roots rock blend similar to third day and Govt. Mule dating right on back to Biblical times! Beyond the versatility of two lead vocalists and ultra-tight harmonies lies a truly refreshing breath of fresh air for the soul!

Saved by Grace got it’s start over ten years ago as a band named Whitestone. After a year of gigging with the band Joey and Kurt split with the original lead singer and went on to form Saved by Grace. A few personnel changes later, we have reached our current line up, and the band is stronger than ever!

Saved by Grace has been featured on 91.7 WMSE, Frontier Radio’s Blues Drive and on 88.5 WRGX in Sturgeon Bay, WI. We are currently signed endorsees of Randall Amps & Parker Guitars as well as mic and instrument cables from guitar-cable.com.  Saved by Grace has been gigging in small to medium venues from Green Bay, WI to Nashville, TN, playing 30+ shows a year to back 5 CD releases since the inception of the band.
